Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation

The Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation (OAuGF) is a constitutionally established institution responsible for auditing the accounts and financial records of all federal ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) in Nigeria. Its core mandate is to ensure accountability, transparency, and integrity in the management of public funds.

By providing independent audit reports to the National Assembly, the Auditor-General's Office supports good governance, combats financial mismanagement, and promotes fiscal discipline in public service.
